Theo Eastwind is a true New York success story who came to the city knowing no one and made quite a name for himself both in music and in real estate because of his exceptional drive, diligence and determination. Now a highly successful real estate agent specializing in the purchase and sale of multi-family properties in the Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Bushwick sections of Brooklyn, he draws on his natural focus and tenacity to make great things happen for his clients. Originally from Vienna, Austria where he went to culinary school, Theo moved to NYC over 20 years ago to run a Viennese bakeshop, Lipizaner, which went out of business in three months. Left on his own in a strange city with his life savings and guitar, he was inspired by the singers and musicians he encountered while strolling through the subway and decided to do the same. After singing cover songs by popular artists, then writing his own music and lyrics with no formal training, Theo became one of the city’s most famous buskers, known as “The King of the Underground” with five highly popular albums.
As time went on, Theo began renting out other apartments in the building where he lived to some friends and caught the real estate bug. He got licensed in 2006 and has excelled in the business since. Now a Senior Agent with Capri Jet Realty, Theo has again distinguished himself from the crowd as an honest, reliable and trustworthy professional with a strong track record of rentals and sales. Because he knows the North Brooklyn market inside and out and can clearly explain the real estate process to his clients, he makes the entire experience enlightening, stress free and of course, entertaining!
